LAB 03 FZC’s private label natural shower gel is built for brands where the ingredient list is as important as the product itself. Every surfactant in this formulation is plant-derived and biodegradable — Decyl Glucoside from corn and coconut, Coco Glucoside from coconut and fruit sugars, and Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate from coconut and fermented sugars. There is no SLES, no SLS, no PEG compounds, no synthetic silicones, and no mineral oil. What replaces them is a thoughtfully assembled botanical system that cleans, conditions, and nourishes in a single step.

The active botanicals are anchored by cold-pressed jojoba oil — technically a liquid wax that is structurally identical to human sebum and one of the most stable, non-comedogenic emollients in natural formulation. It is joined by certified organic aloe vera leaf juice, sweet almond oil rich in oleic and linoleic acids, and grapeseed oil providing natural Vitamin E and antioxidant protection. Together these emollients deliver a skin-conditioning payoff that goes well beyond what standard rinse-off cleansers achieve — leaving skin soft and nourished without any residue or heavy feel.

The sensory experience is anchored by 100% natural essential oils — selected from a curated menu of scent profiles (botanical fresh, warm earth, cooling mint, unscented). The pH is calibrated to 5.5–6.5 and the formula is thickened with xanthan gum and guar gum, both naturally-derived polysaccharides, rather than synthetic polymers. Every functional ingredient in this formulation — surfactants, emollients, thickeners, preservatives, and fragrance — is naturally derived or certified organic. The three surfactants (Decyl Glucoside, Coco Glucoside, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate) are all ECOCERT-approved, plant-derived, and biodegradable. The thickeners are naturally-occurring polysaccharides. The preservation system uses salts of naturally-occurring acids. The fragrance is 100% pure essential oil — there are no synthetic fragrance compounds, no parfum, no hidden acrylates. The INCI list is fully transparent. LAB 03 FZC can provide an ingredient origin declaration for every component in the formula, and can advise on the route to ECOCERT or COSMOS certification for brands wishing to carry a recognised natural certification logo on their label.

Can I get the formula ECOCERT or COSMOS certified?

Yes — all ingredients in this formulation are selected to be compatible with ECOCERT and COSMOS-Natural certification standards. LAB 03 FZC can provide ingredient origin documentation and natural/organic percentage calculations required for the certification application. We advise clients on the certification pathway and work with accredited certifying bodies to support the process. Certification is applied for by the brand owner, not the manufacturer — but we provide all the technical documentation required. Lead times for certification vary by body, typically 6–12 weeks from application.

Can I develop a custom essential oil scent unique to my brand?

Yes — bespoke scent development is available. Our perfumers can work with your brief (mood board, reference scents, brand values, target consumer) to create a proprietary 100% natural essential oil blend that is unique to your brand and not available to any other client. The custom scent development process typically takes 2–3 weeks and involves 2–3 rounds of sample evaluation before production. Is the formula suitable for sensitive skin or children's ranges?

Decyl Glucoside is one of the most widely used surfactants in baby and sensitive-skin personal care globally. The formulation is hypoallergenic, dye-free, and can be adjusted to remove all potential irritants. A paediatric safety assessment is available on request for brands specifically targeting children’s ranges. We do not recommend essential oil variants for children under 3 without specific safety assessment.
