BEMT (Tinosorb S) acts as a photostabiliser for the other filters in the blend, preventing degradation under UV exposure and ensuring the product maintains its declared SPF throughout the day.
Beyond UV protection, this is a genuine skin-care product. Dual-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and sodium PCA maintain deep hydration throughout prolonged sun exposure. BEMT (Tinosorb S) is a next-generation broad-spectrum filter that absorbs both UVB and long-wave UVA — closing the spectral gaps of the other filters in the blend. Critically, it acts as a photostabiliser for Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate and other filters, preventing their photodegradation under UV exposure. This is what separates a professionally formulated chemical sunscreen from a basic single-filter product. EU Annex VI approved — not currently USFDA OTC approved (US formulation uses alternate broad-spectrum UVA filter).
